i think the theme should be changed to a more modern one to fit in more with inventor
The current theme works and is modern. I don’t see a reason to change it.
The theme you linked (IMO) looks even less like Inventor than the current theme (and I personally don’t like the ‘discord skin’ feel):
- We don’t have background images
- The Inventor UI is ‘layered’ rather than using floating ‘glass’ cards
- That theme uses a much higher border-radius than Inventor
- The post list pages have really low density, which is also pretty opposed to how Inventor is designed
I’ve considered a custom theme (or modifying the default dark mode theme to use Inventor colors more heavily) but for the time being this works fine. I don’t really see the point in installing someone else’s theme, if the effort is going to be put in to skin the forum,
I’d like to do it properly and make something custom that fits Inventor’s UI. With that said, there are other much more important things to spend time on than evaluating themes for the forum.
