keep the snowfall effect as a toggle that is off by default but can be enabled in themes or smth 
The show can be toggled from the account mini menu during the month of december. It’s a seasonal feature so it can’t be enabled during the rest of the year.
We’re considering adding more similar features for other holidays in the future (fireworks for New Year’s might happen tomorrow), if you have any suggestions feel free to post those in a new feature request thread.
