I setup a simple /qhelp on the bot, rebooted the bot and reset the server with CTRL R and loged out and back on and deleted all the cache folders from the client and reset to token and no slash command will work.
This isn’t a bug, commands work fine.
Here’s a few potential fixes:
- just give it some time to appear
- make sure the bot is actually in the server
- make sure you have permissions in the server to access the command
- make sure the command isn’t set to “Age Restricted”
- check the application command page for errors (https://inventor.gg/dash/botid/settings/cmd)
always do all that, been developing discord bots for servers for 15 years. I am trying to move clients here from other systems and never not had slash commands not show up.
i even removed and rejoined the bot a few times..
just checking that you have restarted your discord client?
